Ibnosina Medical Association was named after the well known physician and philosopher Avicenna. It is an association for all medical professionals. The boundaries are not limited to geographical location, religious preferences, or political views.
The objectives of Ibnosina Medical Association are:
1. To enhance medical knowledge via research and publications (e.g ljm) with emphasis on the developing countries.
2. To promote medical education and Involve medical students into medical research, writing and publishing their work.
3. To provide assistance and to serve as an educational resource for Medical students and health field-related post-graduate trainees.
4. To sponsor speakers, grants, textbooks and other learning materials for medical schools, students and medical professionals in developing countries
